Dear collegues,

We are on the way of making an international data base of scientific and professional information about European minority of Roma (Gypsies).

The organizer of that data base - "ROMINFO" is Research & Development Organization "YUROM Centar" and "World Organization of Roma".

The data base has already 4500 bibliographical records and only four historic funds. In order to finish the job we started, it is necessary to have your help and cooperation, as soon as possible. In the action of collecting the data, almost all important archives of the world are participating. We have chosen your archives for future cooperation and contact.

"ROMINFO" data base has not adopted the software yet, for archives funds processing. We would kindly appreciate if you could tell us something about your experience on that matter suggest possible ways of cooperation and exchange of data.

We are interested in all kinds of information and all data holders.

Could you, please provide us with bibliographical search in the subject: Roma (Gypsies, Gitanos, Gitah) that you have in your archives fund. In case you do not have them, advise who might have such funds in your country, regarding Gypsies.

By sending even a piece of data, you acquire the right to have our funds records, that we plan to complete by June 2010.
